The following prayer was submitted in
her online guestbook by a chat friend.
Felt it so touching made a page for
all the Web to see how much she meant to her friends. (Her online guestbook
link follows)
A
Hopi Prayer
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glint in the snow
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain
I am the autumn's gentle rain
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there
I did not die.

To Ginnie, a chat friend, who was very
talented with much to offer the world.
She shared with me pictures and stories about her beautiful garden. Her
descriptions were so vivid and eloquent, I felt as if I were there enjoying
the serenity. I recall a story she shared about the morning doves which I
found especially touching.
Ginnie, was smart and well informed. A patriotic American who in spite of
suffering her own pains and medical ills took the time to get involved and
help others.
She loved her family and with her strong faith, she accepted what God had
given her to deal with in life.
She graciously faced each day as a brave, wonderful lady, I am proud to have
called friend.
My condolences to her family and friends for the loss of such a treasure. I
pray for your peace of mind.
Knowing her made me a better person. Ginnie, may be gone from this world ,
but she will never be forgotten.
Blessings, Pak

To Toode, or Ginnie, I was
known merely as Sue or Estate. We met in a News chatroom and from the very
first, we realized we were kindred spirits. We both loved books and gardens
and grandchildren and beautiful weather and learning...always learning.
I am a retired newspaper
managing editor. Finally, I had met online an inquisitive, sensitive, moral,
and, yes, funny, woman near my own age. You have no idea how much I will
miss her. How I wish we could have done lunch and a book together. Estate4th

My sincere condolences to "Toode's"
family. I met her on AOL in Today's News Chat and she was one of the first
people to greet me a few years back. She was a lovely lady who was well
informed on many topics and she will truly be missed. Gennylce

Whenever Toode appeared in
the room, I'd smile. I knew that a sincere, sweet greeting to me would come
next. She was a special woman... she will be sorely missed by me and all who
appreciated her intelligence and humor and sincerity. Judy
